During your training at METRO, you can take on responsibility, work in an appreciative team and make things happen to make our customers happy. As a motivated talent, discover the possibilities of dual training, which takes place at METRO on site (i.e. in the wholesale stores, the delivery depots or the company headquarters) and at vocational school.

• Wholesale and foreign trade management assistant (m/f/d)

• Retail salesman (m/f/d)

• Salesperson (m/f/d)

• Warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d)

TO THE DUAL TRAINING

BACCALAUREATE PROGRAMME:
THE 3-IN-1 DEGREE

Three IHK apprenticeships in just three years: As Germany's number one wholesaler in the food trade, we offer school leavers with a vocational diploma or A-levels a perfect start to their career.

With an intensive programme, we make you fit for your job in the wholesale market - as a sought-after expert, as a future manager and even as a trainer.

THE PROGRAMME INCLUDES THESE THREE IHK QUALIFICATIONS:

• Retail Management Assistant (m/f/d)
• Retail specialist (m/f/d)
• Training of trainers (AdA certificate)

How about a managerial position after your training? Then you should opt for the Abitur programme to become a commercial specialist (m/f/d)!

Remuneration

We pay an attractive remuneration as well as holiday and Christmas bonuses during the training in all professions.

Exam preparation

We offer individual examination preparation for all occupations in preparation for the final examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

After the apprenticeship, we offer various opportunities for personal and professional development.

IPad

For very good performance in the IHK final examination, all trainees receive a current IPad as a gift from us.

Holidays

At METRO we have 30 days of holiday per year and additional days off before the IHK final exams.

Through local training officers and youth and trainee representatives who stand up for the trainees at METRO.
